Who We Are
Since 1938, Clamshell Beach Resort has been a beloved lakeside destination, with a legacy rooted in hospitality, outdoor adventure, and family traditions. This unique resort community was built to embrace the beauty of the Whitefish Chain of Lakes, providing guests with the ultimate escape—breezy lakefront, lakeview or poolside views, premier fishing, and endless recreation.
Situated in central Minnesota on the premier Whitefish Chain of Lakes on Clamshell Lake, our resort is all about family traditions, taking in nature, seeking adventure and enjoying the best rest and relaxation while staying in a luxury cabin at the lake.
Clamshell offers a beautiful sandy beach, an outdoor heated pool, multiple playgrounds, sand volleyball, basketball and pickleball courts, a full-service lodge, and access to some of the best boating, fishing, and breathtaking beauty that Minnesota has to offer!
